Well where do I start on the new movie.  I have been neck deep in petitions, arguments, and nearly a couple of fist fights discussing the way the movie is being handled.  People have a certain belief on the way it should be filmed and boy they don't give an inch.  Everything from the cast, crew, to the cars being used in the film has been the center of an argument.  So let me see if I can straighten out some rumors about the film.  The biggest argument of all is Jessica Simpson playing Daisy Duke.  There have been petitions sent to the producers saying that she didn't deserve the part.  Do I feel like she is a good ole Rednek Girl.  Well not no, but hell no.  But that's why they call them actors.  They can act like another type of person.  So right now I'm not passing judgment on her.  Now the one thing that I was raising hell about was the General Lee.  If they didn't keep the rebel flag on the car then I was going to make a big stink.  But keeping true to the series, they kept the Dodge exactly how it was suppose to be, rebel flag and all.  So needless to say I'm going to wait on the movie and see how it goes before I get on my soapbox.  But from what I have read of the script this may not be one for you to carry your children to see.  Since I have only read part of the script and no visual aids where there I can't be for sure.  But it does have some language in it as well as some scenes, depending on how they are filmed that might not be suitable for anyone under 13.  Kinda reminds me of American Pie.  Now this has been a center of controversy.  Most everyone wants the movie to be like the series, no cussin, no one get's hurt, etc.  And I can see that.  But I also believe that it needs to be updated for the times.  But I guess we will just have to wait to find out.  But I have had several pictures sent to me of the filming and I will be posting them below.  Also the who's who of the cast will be below the pictures.  Be sure to drop me a line with any comments you may have about the upcoming movie.  I'm open to everyone's input.
