| It has been a long time since we have had a Country
singer who isn't afraid to speak what's on his mind. Since the
days of Hank Jr., Charlie Daniels, and David Allen Coe,
Country artists have cowered when it comes to growing a backbone and
taking a stand. And I couldn't have said it better myself, "If you
got a problem with that,, then you can KISS MY COUNTRY ASS."
Rhett's new single "Kiss My Country Ass" will take America by storm.
If country radio will have the balls to play it. This song
interprets how a good portion of Americans feel. But because
today's artist cower at the first sign of someone disagreeing with them,
I'm glad Rhett has brought Country back to where it should be. Not
worrying about what them tree hugging, PETA lovin, never worked a day in
their lives, people think. So with that being said be
sure to support Rhett and his new album. Stand Up And Let Your
Rednek Voice Be Heard |

RHETT AKINS,
born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia, launched his career in 1995 with
his debut album A Thousand Memories. Two additional albums followed -
Somebody New and What Livin's All About, each on Decca Records. During
his career, Akins has placed several singles at the top of the charts
including "She Said Yes," "Don't Get Me Started," "That Ain't My Truck,"
"Better Than It Used To Be," and "More Than Everything." One of the
career achievements he is very proud of is serving as the National Music
Industry Spokesperson for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. |

"You can hear more of my influences on
this album than any other. The result is
a blending of country and southern rock.
That's what I'm all about. It's my true roots.
It's what I love."

Rhett's new album "People Like Me"
should be released Summer 07 and all I can say is that there isn't a bad
song on it. I was lucky enough to get a copy of the new album and with
songs like Kiss My Country Ass, I Love Women My Mama Can't Stand, If Heaven,
Old Bird Dog, and Friday Night In Dixie, it could very well be the best cd
released in 2007, by any country artist. So be sure to keep an eye on
his site and grab one up, when they are available.
