TailGate is the middleage Rednek of the staff.  He's not as old as Bodine but not as young and good looking as H.D.  His personal achievements in life are designing house shoes out of maxi pads and being able to find a chigger within 300 yards of his deer stand.

       Although he doesn't have much use, he is pretty good with electrical stuff.  He even told me how he used a 22 caliber bullet one time as a fuse for his headlights in his truck.  Man that takes some smarts to do that.

       But all in all he is still Rednek enough to be one of the staff.  But the best thing about him is Mrs. Tailgate who keeps us in line when T isn't around.
